2012 Time for New Ideas

Hello, so a lot has been going on these past few months. I had a busy summer in which I need to post some of the projects I worked on this past summer.

Also I am going to do some brainstorming of some new ideas I would like to try out. Among these ideas I will be working on some ideas for  first communion, bachelorette parties, weddings, bridal showers, christenings, and birthday parties. Well that is all for now! =)

For the time being check out my new portfolio website!

Busy Summer!

This has been a busy summer. I worked on a few different projects from June to this month and will be working on a couple of more this month.

So let's see I made invitations for a couple of Sweet 15th parties (Quinceañeras), graduation party, a little girl's birthday party, and a baptism. In the next couple of weeks I will be posting some pictures of this invites. I am currently going to be working on a couple of events and a scrapbook album of all of the invitations I have made so far.

So until my next post, I hope you are having a great summer!! -Alicia

Invites for Grads!!!

Here is a cool invite for a H.S. Grad's / Trunk Party! The front of the invite includes the Grad's first initial with a embossed stamp of a cap. The invite's enclosure is a matchbook style which its flap is embossed in a fun zebra design.

Quilling an Old Art Form

So the other day I went to the craft store and picked up a free instructional sheet to make these snowflakes out of paper which introduced me to the old art of Quilling.
I had seen it before, framing beautifully an my parent-in-law's wedding anniversary invitation but I did not know much about it then until now. These are just a few ideas that I will try to make once I purchase my tools to twirl these 1/8" wide strips of paper. I will keep you posted on my progress. My goal is to create a frame for those special keepsake invitations.
